You can exchange encrypted mails with your friends or business partners to guarantee the confidentiality of messages being sent over the Internet. In business transactions these aspects contribute to the non-repudiation of online transactions. (In order to send an encrypted mail you need the recipients Public Key. This can be obtained by searching for it online (see Find Someone's Certificate) or by initially receiving a signed e-mail by that particular person (the Public Key is included in his digital signature)). |
